The Story

“Jackfruit chips made from ripe fruit (as opposed to raw) are a completely different product from what most people know — golden-yellow, naturally sweet, with a fragrance that fills the room when the bag opens. Made only during jackfruit season (March to June) from large-variety chakka grown in the cook's family compound in Thrissur. Fried in coconut oil. Available only while stock lasts.”

Eat as a dessert-snack. Especially good with black tea with no milk. A Kerala classic.
