โNendran banana โ the thick, starchy variety grown in Kerala โ sliced paper-thin and fried in first-pressed virgin coconut oil with just salt and sometimes a touch of turmeric. The result is unlike any commercial banana chip: lighter, more fragrant, with the distinctive taste of real coconut oil that disappears completely when the banana is fried in refined oil. Made in a home kitchen in Thrissur. Fried in small batches, never frozen.โ
